All of our breeding dogs complete comprehensive OFA and genetic screenings per PWDCA health testing guidelines. We prioritize soundness, longevity, and responsible breeding practices to give every puppy the healthiest possible start.

Our dogs earn titles across conformation and performance events, proving their physical soundness, athleticism, and instinctive working drive. We believe that only dogs who demonstrate the purpose and abilities the Portuguese Water Dog was bred for should contribute to the next generation.

We follow the AKC breed standard with intention, focusing on correct conformation, balance, and functional movement. By prioritizing structure and temperament, we aim to preserve the integrity of the Portuguese Water Dog while producing versatile, family-centered companions who can excel in both the home and the working environment.
